Heya, it’s that time again!
As mentioned when I started these monthly updates, I’m publishing these new income reports on the last day of each month to get fresh data your way.
Plus, it helps keep me accountable to you…because we all know that I will procrastinate on getting these written up.
Also, I want to remind you that these Ezoic sites of mine are smaller sites, which means these monthly updates should be easier for new site builders to follow along with (as well as those of you who are building sites with limited time).
For June, we’re back down to just 5 sites as last month I’d moved a site back to AdSense.
Note: The sites in this report are only a portion of my portfolio and not the only sites that bring in revenue.
**And as always, I’m an affiliate marketer and this post contains affiliate links, meaning I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my link.
Site 1: Food/Drink Niche
For June, I did not get any new posts published on this site.
It’s not that I didn’t want to get new posts up- I just didn’t have the time due to other stuff going on in life.
In Google Analytics, traffic on this site is down a whopping 69% compared to the previous month, though the last few days do show a slight rise back up in the right direction.
But daily visits in Ezoic is showing an increase….which is wild.
I think this traffic drop shows that my YOLOing it with experimenting 301 redirecting several domains at once was a failed experiment.
Assuming that the GA traffic stats are the proper ones (?) that is.
I hope that I remember to remove those redirects to see it traffic rises back up.
Somehow, the income for this sites seems to have increased despite the traffic oddity.
EPMV is essentially stagnant with only a $0.06 increase over previous month.
And quick reminder, I enabled Humix on this site earlier in the year but didn’t upload any videos – instead I’m only earning from other people’s videos that show up on my site.
Here’s how much this site earned via Humix for the month –
So that’s more plays than in the previous month, and more earnings as well.
But the earnings increased as a great rate than the plays, which means that the EPMV for the video plays had to have increased.
Still not an amazing ROI there though, is it?
Here’s what the overall income for the last 30 days looks like for this site:
- Ezoic: $10.33
- Amazon: $24.35
Do note that we have one additional day left in the month, so these numbers are almost complete.
Site 2: Religion/Spirituality Niche
Like site #1 above, I was not able to get any new content up on this site for the month of June.
However, all the previous work I’ve done seems to be showing up as Google Analytics shows that traffic on this site is up a little more than 17% compared to the previous month.
Ezoic dashboard also shows a traffic increase.
I also didn’t get around to making any new videos for this site’s YouTube channel or Humix.
Here’s how much this site earned from Humix with the two videos that I uploaded a few months ago –
What’s interesting here is that the number of plays went down by almost half, but the revenue inched up a wee bit.
And here’s something fun – Big Data Analytics isn’t showing the same drop in plays.
Here’s what the income for the last 30 days looks like for this site:
- Ezoic: $16.65
- Amazon: $0.00
Happ to see the EPMV actually increased!
So, traffic is up, EPMV is up, and income is up – all things I like to see.
Do note that we have one additional day left in the month, so these numbers are almost complete.
Plus, Ezoic balances are not finalized for ending month until the 4th of the following month. Just an FYI.
Site 3: Food/Drink Niche #2
This site also got neglected in June and I got zero new posts up on it.
Google Analytics shows me that traffic for the site is down around 4.5% compared to the previous month.
Ezoic also shows a small traffic drop.
So, there’s no real insights when it comes to this site since I didn’t do any work on it.
Here’s what the income for the last 30 days looks like for this site:
- Ezoic: $11.84
- Amazon: $12.87
While traffic was down, EPMV and earnings seem to be up!
Do note that we have one additional day left in the month, so these numbers are almost complete.
Plus, Ezoic balances are not finalized for ending month until the 4th of the following month. Just an FYI.
Site 4: Tech/Gaming Niche
This site is no longer on Ezoic.
Site 5: Outdoors Niche
Yup, due to my numerous doctor appointments in June, this site was also neglected.
A total of zero posts were published on this site.
Google Analytics shows me that traffic for the site is down around 4.2% compared to the previous month.
Ezoic also shows a slight traffic decline.
EPMV for the site did have a slight decline, which is not ideal.
Here’s what the income for the last 30 days looks like for this site:
- Ezoic: $18.07
- Amazon: $29.03
Do note that we have one additional day left in the month, so these numbers are almost complete.
Plus, Ezoic balances are not finalized for ending month until the 4th of the following month. Just an FYI.
Site 6: Gardening Niche
This is the ONLY site of mine that got fresh content for the month of June.
I managed to get up 10 new posts on this site – a healthy mix of affiliate and informational content.
The affiliate content is using high converting Lasso product boxes.
And I used Scalenut (use code FOREVER20 to save 20% after the free trial!) to optimize these articles. You can also use something like Frase for this.
I am surprised to see that traffic slightly down for this site considering how well it’s been growing.
But EPMV did increase by around $3, which is nice to see.
Here’s what the income for the last 30 days looks like for this site:
As a result, revenue did go down a bit.
- Ezoic: $208.85
- Amazon: $73.60
Do note that we have one additional day left in the month, so these numbers are almost complete.
Plus, Ezoic balances are not finalized for ending month until the 4th of the following month. Just an FYI.
Looking Ahead
Ideally, July will see me pumping more content into site #6 to get that traffic up to 30K pageviews!
I still need to work on a disavow file for site #3.
And I still need to get back to making videos for site #2.
Otherwise, I’ll just (hopefully) be focused on content creation.
If you want more details on how I use Ezoic’s Big Data Analytics to form my content strategies, check out this three-part case study.
And if you’re not yet using Ezoic on your site, then why not sign up and make some sweet internet monies?
